STEFANIE GRIPENBERG. "Maggan", painted ceramic, signed, dated 25.

Height approx. 69.5 cm

Stefanie Gripenberg is an artist and ceramicist. Her artistry often takes its starting point in her own feelings and experiences, with grief, loss, and longing as recurring themes. Through recognizable objects, symbols, and figures, she attempts to find a way to approach things that can be difficult to put into words.

Stefanie's own words about the work:
"Meet Maggan. She is pink, has wings, and smokes too much. She is a declaration of love to everything that is girly, too much, or 'not quite right'. A mixture of cuteness, defiance, and bad decisions. Maggan has it all.".
