The auction house takes its name from co-owner Daniel Bidstrup, who has many years’ experience valuing and trading art, design and antiques. He brings with him a vast network and a deep passion for craftsmanship and design. Co-owner Sissal Ærø brings her strengths in client relations and sales, while Nils Overgaard is the steady specialist, with over two decades as an auction manager, guiding customers through every step of the process.
Together they form a dynamic team that combines tradition and professionalism with new ideas. With their combined expertise they aim to refresh Denmark’s auction scene and make Bidstrup Auktioner a natural meeting place for sellers and buyers of valuable objects – a breath of fresh air on an exciting market.
