Elisabeth Warling (1858-1915) was a Swedish painter and draughtswoman with a particular interest in portrait and genre painting. She was born in Stockholm and trained at the Technical School and the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied from 1877–1883. With a scholarship, she travelled on to Paris and the Académie Colarossi, a period that provided her with important impulses for her continued work.

Warling participated in several prominent exhibitions, including the Stockholm Exhibition of 1887, the Nordic Exhibition in Copenhagen in 1888, and the Baltic Exhibition in 1914. She also exhibited works with the Association of Swedish Female Artists, where her contribution helped to highlight the position of female artists.

Her art is characterised by a refined sense of colour and a combination of elegance and everyday motifs. She worked in oil, watercolour, gouache, and pencil, often with portraits but also with small genre paintings, figure studies, and landscapes. Among her more noted works are portraits of the artist Gerda Kallstenius (1885) and the cabinet minister P.J. von Ehrenheim. As an illustrator, she also contributed to the magazine Idun.

Warling is represented at, among others, the Nationalmuseum, Uppsala University, Lund University, Karolinska Institute, Västergötland Museum, and Östergötland Museum.
