History:
After the Second World War, during which he served as a war correspondent, Ernest Raboff developed a lifelong interest in art. During the post-war years in Europe, he studied art in France and Italy, where he met several of the most significant artists of the time. Upon returning to Los Angeles, he became part of the emerging art scene and, in the late 1950s, opened the Ernest Raboff Gallery with a focus on modern art.

From 1968, he published the book series "Art for Children," which was released in several editions and translated into languages including Swedish, German, and Japanese.
