Description
Cylindrical pewter tankard with a profiled base, hinged lid, and curved handle. Richly engraved decoration with stylized leaf and vine ornaments. The lid is fitted with an inset two-krona coin featuring a portrait of Charles XV. Stamped on the interior with maker's and control marks. The date stamp K5 indicates the year of manufacture 1864. Attributed to the pewterer Gustaf Otto Ekström, active in Örebro 1857–1869.
Height up to the thumbpiece approx. 16 cm.
