Lilian von Krusenstjerna, born in the USA in 1924, active in Sweden. Educated at Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg. Exhibitions during the 1940s and early 1950s. Created expressive landscapes, still lifes, and drawings with a symbolic, personal expression. Her art is characterized by her illness. Her promising career was cut short by an untimely death at the age of 29 in 1954. Many of her sketches and drawings were created during sleepless nights, plagued by illness.
