Gustaf Ruben Wallström (1885-1953), model maker and sculptor, born in Gävle on 19 July 1885.
Ruben Wallström was already employed as a young boy at Gefle Kakelfabrik, later Gefle Porslinsfabrik, where he stayed until his death in 1953. He designed several tableware, e.g. "Mullbär" which became one of the factory's bestsellers. Ruben Wallström sculpted several animal and human figures that became part of the Gefle Porslinsfabrik range, including tigers, lions and elephants. He is also known for his oil paintings often depicting floral still lifes.
