Stadsauktion Sundsvall was founded in autumn 2013 by Anders Melin and Peter Webb, and is the first auction house in Central Norrland to offer online auctions.
Many know Anders and Peter from the music industry, primarily through the company they started in Sundsvall in 1990 together with several other driven producers and songwriters – Sidelake Productions. Anders has worked as product manager and talent scout at some of Sweden's largest record labels, and Peter has produced Swedish artists such as Petter, Ken Ring, and Timbuktu.
Alongside their music careers, both have always maintained a passion for antiques and design. In addition to studies in antiques and design, Anders has been collecting art for 30 years, and Peter has run his own shop, Duo Retro in Sundsvall, featuring furniture and design from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
