Gustaf Adolf Tenggren (1896—1970) was a Swedish-American artist and animator who played a central role within Disney. He began his career as a cartoonist and illustrator in Sweden before moving to the United States in the 1920s. Tenggren became an important part of the Disney studio, where he worked as a studio manager and contributed his talent to classic films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, Fantasia and Pinocchio
In addition to his work with Disney, Tenggren had a distinguished career as a book illustrator and his work has had a major impact on both animation and illustrated literatu.
