"The following pages set out a chronicle of the first hundred years of the proceedings of the Grand Council 33 to which a Paptent was given in 1845 to establish the Ancient and Accepted Rite on a regular basis in England. This account is set out in six parts. The first deals with the period 1845-1854 for which no minute books and little archival material is in the possession of the Supreme Council. The third part records the events at the International Congress at Lausanne in 1875 and the consequences thereof. The remaining four parts are each concerned with successive 20-25 year periods between 1854 and 1945.
