Height about 14 cm.
Width about 20 cm.
Hyonsun Rhee, born in Tokyo in 1938 of South Korean parents, educated at Kyoto University during the 1950s. He travels to Sweden in 1962 and continues his education at Konstfack in Stockholm in the period 1962-63. Employed at Upsala-Ekeby 1963-65 where he made vases, animals, bowls etc., often inspired by Asian culture and with Japanese names. His items are easy to recognize as he usually signs with Japanese/Korean characters along with Upsala Ekeby's traditional stamp. There are many indications that he left Sweden after the time at Upsala Ekeby.
