Over time, his style evolved towards a personal Cubism that incorporated elements of Fauvism, characterised by its agility and spontaneity.

In 1969, Busom painted many of his landscapes in Cadaqués, an iconic place for many artists because of its natural beauty and unique light. These works reflect his ability to combine Cubist techniques with a Fauvist sensibility, creating works that are both innovative and evocative.
