Description
Alfons Engling (1909-?), flute player, bronze with brown-green patina, 1967, signed and dated on the base, height x width x depth: 47 x 35 x 18 cm.
Engeling studied at the Folkwang School in Essen and was a student of Ernst Barlach. In 1950 he moved to Brazil, where he worked as a professor at the EBA Sâo Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo. In 1979 he returned to Germany and settled in Cologne.
