probably Sweden, leather-covered wooden frame, shod with transverse brass bands, rivet decoration, openwork decoration at the attachment to the handle (carrying loop missing), lock strap with lock holder in brass, inside lined with red marbled cardboard.

Length 34.5 cm, width 17 cm, height 19 cm, completely genuine with untouched patina.

Has been exhibited for the Nordic Museum in Stockholm in 1964.

Condition

wear, signs of use, metal band missing, tears on the back where the lid folds down, carrying loop missing, broken decorative element.
