For half a century, ceramicist and sculptor Ingrid Herrlin created her work at Ateljé Hasselbacken in Båstad, a site that served as both her home and studio from the 1960s onwards. She studied at the School of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Gothenburg between 1953 and 1957, and after a brief period in Uppsala, she eventually returned to her childhood home in Båstad. Her ceramic pieces are skillfully executed, realistic depictions of everyday objects such as fruit, baskets, and tools.
