Einar Jolin's understated still life with the mantel clock and Christmas rose brings just such a quality. So do Fabian Edelstam and Josef Frank. If you choose Carl Malmsten's armchair "Marino" you get Frank's vivid pattern "Anakreon" into the bargain. And if your sights are set half a year into the future, there is a Christmas tree stand to bid home.
