Uppsala Auktionskammare takes us along on its Summer Auction, and here there is plenty to choose from. The catalogue is extensive and nothing short of varied, with everything from antique objects to contemporary pieces.
The section for modern decorative arts can boast several sought-after pieces. One of them is Stig Lindberg's delightfully chunky Månfisken. Another is the Jetson armchair with footstool by Bruno Mathsson. A third — an armchair by Mats Theselius — ties the Swedish modern and contemporary furniture worlds together seamlessly through its very name, Bruno. And there will be an abundance of ceramics by Lisa Larson, lighting by Alvar Aalto and much more besides.
On the classical side we find Asian decorative arts, an armchair by Ephraim Ståhl, 19th century silver, Sami craftwork and Flora Danica porcelain.
