Palsgaard Curated June is a packed catalogue comprising over 220 lots. As one might expect, it is rich in Danish design — but it also contains a great deal more.
Delightful is Marie Schmidt's owl vase from Bing & Grøndahl. Perhaps the most beautiful of all is Illum Wikkelsø's generous armchair V11. And from the studio of Emile Joseph Patoux comes a nude study with its roots deep in art history.
Alongside these distinguished objects we find a set of six chairs designed by Gio Ponti, a charmingly stout bulldog by Lisa Larson, a large Gino Sarfatti lamp, a bronze Buddha, and Hans Christian Scherfig's Giraffes on the Savannah — plus, as mentioned, a great deal more.
