Spring 2025, and Stadsauktion Sundsvall is in full swing!
In early May, the auction house moved to its new premises at Verkstadsgatan 4 – a warm welcome to all visitors! Now, the catalogue for the Spring Quality Auction 2025 is being presented. Among the selected artworks is an early painting by Linn Fernström, rich in both humour and warmth. It is shown alongside an intense work by Theo Tobiasse, several pieces by Bengt Lindström, as well as works by Karin Olsson and Rune Hagberg. From the hand of Lisa Larson comes both a bronze sculpture and one of her sought-after balloon figures. On the design front, highlights include a pair of Samsö chairs by Ib Kofod-Larsen, a Wegner writing desk, a Nobel dinner service, a Gary lounge chair, and a Hans Bergström lamp in teak and brass. Among the Swedish antiques are a grand cupboard from Jämtland, a Rococo chest of drawers, a late Gustavian chandelier, and several silver pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries. Add to that a selection of wristwatches, a knife by Esse Poggats, and of course, that magnificent walnut grand piano by Grotrian-Steinweg – and you have just a glimpse of what’s in store for Spring Quality 2025 at Stadsauktion Sundsvall.
