The world’s strongest bear returns to Stockholms Auktionsverk Magasin 5!
The story begins in a cinema, where an eight-year-old Rune Andreasson (1925–1999) watched The Three Little Pigs and was captivated. Just four years later, one of his drawings was published in Göteborgs-Tidningen. After dabbling in theater, debuting as a children’s book illustrator, and creating a few more-or-less successful comics, Andreasson introduced Bamse in 1966. By the early 1970s, the honey-powered bear had his own comic book. Today, in 2024, Bamse is not only a cornerstone of Swedish comic history but also an integral part of the nation’s cultural heritage.
Now, you have the chance to take home a piece of that legacy—be it an original drawing, a film cell, or even the concept art for the cover of Bamse - Världens starkaste björn Issue 9, 1977.
