With the theme A Skåne Art Collection, Crafoord Auktioner Malmö presents both famous and somewhat lesser-known painters' interpretations of the light, nature, and landscapes of southern Sweden. The selection also includes other works, such as a view of the northern French coast by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt and a nature study by Gottfrid Kallstenius. Both are rather outdoor-focused compared to, for instance, Albert Krüger’s bouquet of flowers set against a saffron-yellow background or Gunnar Malm’s tavern interior, where a figure at the bar is dressed in a Dardel-like suit.
Among names such as Gerhard Wihlborg, Ulf Onsberg, Olle Svanlund, Emil Olsson, and Axel Kleimer, there are also a couple of works by unidentified artists, as well as a wooden landscape by découpage master Rolf Lehman.
