Auktionshuset Kolonn has created a cultural and historical connection between a portrait medallion from Finspångs bruk and Bo Andersson's Absolute Art bottle. These items are separated by around 150 years, but what they have in common is cast iron and, more importantly, that they both belong to the "Made in Sweden" theme. Among over 80 lots, you'll find paintings, sculptures, crafts, various types of lighting, and more. The selection is refreshing and offers a comfortable armchair created during the time when Bruno Mathsson was attempting to translate his furniture designs into rattan. There's also an orange spherical vase by Berndt Friberg, a quite eye-catching dress from the design year 1991, and a mirror in a very Stockholm Rococo style. These are just a few examples. You can also explore the porridge set, the portrait of Gösta von Hennigs, and the small yet irresistibly charming bowl with a lid by the lesser-known Arnold Karlström. Or perhaps, something entirely different. Welcome to a spirited collection of items, all Made in Sweden!
