Throughout an auction year, certain items regularly appear in the catalog's flow. However, surprises occasionally emerge—unique or exceptionally rare objects seldom seen at auction.
Some pieces are so unusual they barely exist today. Perhaps they’ve been lost over centuries, or the designer or artist created only a handful—sometimes just one.
Experienced auction-goers often say the only regrets are for the items they didn’t buy when they had the chance, as it’s impossible to know if or when such an opportunity will come again.
