By now, Selected by Sørensen Auktioner has become something of a quality certification. Just over 80 lots in a catalogue that’s heavy with Danish design, mixed with modern painting, a bit of ceramics, and a few lamps.
A centerpiece bowl in lovely, nature-inspired Art Nouveau is one of the auction’s oldest lots. Poul Hedegaard’s three-legged table with a mosaic top is a little treat from the late 1940s. And in total contrast to the objects mentioned above, we find colorful painting by Peder Tuxen Rosenstand.
There we have three examples from a starting field that also offers furniture by Hans J Wegner, Børge Mogensen, and Bodil Kjær, lighting by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen, and Bente Merrild’s robust work “Glashøst.”
Welcome!
