Uppsala Auktionskammare has lifted the silver lid on the box of chocolates to present the themed auction, "Silver Pralines."
The collection comprises 117 lots, featuring candlesticks, spoons, sugar boxes, beakers, and much more. While the majority of the items were crafted in Enköping or Gävle, pieces from Stockholm, Falun, Uppsala, and other locations are also represented.
One of the auction’s highlights, however, hails from Karlskrona: a Carolean-era beaker, crafted by Sigismund Novisadi the Elder in 1698.
