The Decorated Room

As autumn sets in and the days grow shorter, the longing for a home that offers warmth, comfort, and inspiration intensifies. As darkness falls and the chill begins to be felt, the home becomes an increasingly vital space for relaxation and socialising. Through thoughtful details and personal touches, we can create rooms that are a joy to inhabit—even during the darker months of the year.

Formstad Auktioner invites you to our themed auction, The Decorated Room, where objects with diverse aesthetics, materials, and histories converge. Featured here are interior pieces that lend character to a space and help craft a cohesive, personal whole. The interplay between different styles and eras creates compelling contrasts, with each object contributing its own unique expression.

Interior design is about more than just filling a room; it is about curating an environment that feels intentional and welcoming. With carefully selected furniture, lighting, and decorative accents, a home can take on a new character—becoming a space to truly cherish during the cool days of autumn.
