Design Sale XXIII

For all of us who appreciate well-balanced color and form, Design Sale XXIII is like a little amusement park for the senses. Crafoord Auktioner Stockholm has this time gathered just over 310 lots, and as in previous editions, the variety is refreshingly large. A few examples below show this.
We get a piece of plastic history in Gillis Lundgren’s Grand Prix armchair. How rare is that? Or take the almost meditative Came vase by Tyra Lundgren. It’s like a swim down into the great blue. And then Josef Frank’s cozy sofa model 968, like an endless plush embrace to sink into.
But as said, the beauties mentioned above are only examples, a taste of what this catalogue holds. Among much, much more, you’ll also find a large Friberg vase, a Carolus cabinet by Carl Malmsten, a lidded box by Estrid Ericson, a glass vase by Alessandro Pianon, a Dream Tree by Birgitta Salenius, a drum-shaped chandelier from the 1920s, and a boat-shaped silver pitcher from Georg Jensen. To name a handful more.
Welcome to discover the rest for yourselves!
