We make our way to Murano, just outside Venice, where glassblowers have been creating beautiful things since the 13th century. During the Renaissance the masters there were regarded as almost royalty, and after a few hundred years of quiet existence the craft experienced a revival in the 19th century.
Kunst- und Auktionshaus Kleinhenz now presents a great deal of this goodness, and we are treated to works by James Coignard, Paolo Valle, Dino Martens, Alessandro Mandruzzato and many, many more.
