Palsgaard Kunstauktioner has once again handpicked, catalogued and photographed selected treats from the art and design world of the 20th century.
One might suggest settling into one of those library armchairs and working through the catalogue at one's leisure. This time the experience is like a journey through Danish design history, with works by Hans J. Wegner, Børge Mogensen, Ib Kofod-Larsen, Nanna Ditzel and Svend Langkilde, among many others.
The ceramicist Tue Poulsen contributes a large relief, from Wilhelm Wils' easel comes a still life, and there is also a substantial bronze by Herman Wilhelm Bissen.
And finally — the de Sede armchair, like a luscious toffee in this design bonbonnière. With footstool too!
Welcome!
