The catalogue for Gomér & Andersson Linköping's Selected is here! It comprises 110 lots handpicked by the auction house's specialists. The common denominator here is quality, whether it's a lidded goblet in gilded silver, dated 1624, or a box in horn and bone from 2015.
Among the auction's highlights is an electrified chandelier from the turn of the last century. The model was made by Gusum in only 13 examples. So is Einar Jolin's depiction of Stockholm, heavy and blanketed in freshly fallen capital-city snow. The weather is quite different in Johan Krouthén's sunny summer scene from 1910, with carefree white clouds drifting across a blue sky.
Add to this works by Marc Chagall, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Émile Gallé (do check out the vase - vegetable nouveau at its very finest), Lisa Larson, Alvar Aalto, and many, many more.
A warm welcome to you all!
