Uppsala Auktionskammare presents Nordic Living!
Here, Nordic design and art are given an entire theme packed with over 200 lots. The classics are plentiful, seasoned with a fitting dose of rarer finds. Thus, woodcuts by Lars Lerin sit alongside art glass from Orrefors and Moomin figurines from Atelier Fauni, while a Jetson armchair stands beneath a twilight painting by Artur Bianchini.
Erik Matsson's "Viking cabinet" - made in only 18 examples, yet in 17 different wood species - is a highlight. So is Karin Björquist's Nobel dinner service. And then there's the silver wine cooler from C G Hallberg, made in 1917 and shaped like an unfurling flower bud - absolutely exquisite.
A warm welcome to you all!
