Stockholms Magasin 5 gives us art in three dimensions with the theme Sculpture - A Selection.
The emphasis is on bronzes from the modernist era, but a few lively departures freshen up the selection and add a couple of extra ingredients. Kent Ullberg's cranes, for example. Or Dan Wolgers' children's candlestick.
And the rest?
There is much of quality here. Ivar Johnsson, classicist and respected monumental sculptor, contributes an elegant action scene with a foundry stamp from Otto Meyers. Sven Lundqvist offers a charmingly stout newspaper reader. And in profile stands one of Gunnar Cyrén's rhinoceroses. Add to that works by among others Bror Forslund, Carin Nilsson, David Retling and many more.
