Falun Auktionsbyrå welcomes you to their Modern Sale with a catalogue comprising over 100 lots. Scandinavian design takes centre stage, with classics interspersed with the occasional rare piece for collectors and connoisseurs.
Two Swan armchairs by Arne Jacobsen are shown alongside several models by Bruno Mathsson, including a Jetson in black leather. From Carl Malmsten come two of his better-known models, and from the era that has been given the name Swedish Grace, a bench with classically inspired cast iron end panels.
An exceptional highlight is Carlo Scarpa's almost divine glass vase. In its pattern one can actually find similarities with the hat and dress on Kjell Engman's figurine, and perhaps also in Saara Hopea's Panter vase.
Alongside these, a Grossmann lamp, a bronze by Hans Reider and garden furniture from Grythyttan are also on offer.
