It is in the autumn of 1926 that William Stenberg purchases the defunct sheet glass works and starts up production of household and decorative glass. Four years later, the glassworks presents its glass at the Stockholm Exhibition, and soon products are being exported around the world.
At Auktionsfirma Kenneth Svensson in Kalmar, we are offered a taste of what was once produced there in the parish of Hälleberga.
One of the lots is Lennart Andersson's cool cocktail service. Another is a turquoise blue floor vase by Arthur Percy. A third is Catti Åselius Lidbeck's Mitt i Prick glassware from the most exuberant pop era of the 1960s. In total, 47 lots are on offer in a theme that raises a glass to Gullaskruf.
Welcome!
