And what we get is a thorough look into Ebers’s artistic output. In a theme comprising 79 lots, we are guided through her fondness for geometry and contrasts. There’s a skull on corrugated cardboard, but also one in peat, in the very same lot! We get a sculpture in masonite, a good many charcoal drawings, and her characteristic hearts made of iron.
