The wait is over. The catalogue for Palsgaard Curated March is here – generous in scope, varied in character and naturally seasoned with the odd surprise.
Seven graphic works by Axel Salto are sure to attract collectors. A quartet of chairs, designed by Viggo S. Jørgensen and Hans-Christian Hansen, represents a rare opportunity to acquire high-quality Danish furniture art from the 1930s. And then there is Fritjof Serjesen's ceramic sun – 60 cm in diameter – in a vivid orange glaze. Three highlights well worth pausing over. But the catalogue also includes further furniture by Hans J Wegner, Børge Mogensen and Karin Mobring, paintings by Jens Birkemose and Nils Bergslien, a generous selection of pepper mills, Danish lighting fixtures, and ceramics by Arne Bang, Stig Lindberg and Georg Jensen.
Welcome!
