Crafoord Auktioner Stockholm now presents a series of watercolours depicting interiors, with motifs drawn from Svenskt Tenn, Liljevalchs, and classic Stockholm restaurants such as Pelikan, Prinsen and Grodan.
Peter Eugén Nilsson was born in 1978 in Sundsvall and is now based in Stockholm. He has established himself as a highly regarded watercolour and nature painter, with numerous exhibitions both in Sweden and abroad. His inspiration comes from the forests of his childhood – dramatic and beautiful scenes where water often plays a central role, and where water lilies have become his signature.
Peter Eugén has been featured in several articles and segments in outlets such as ABC News, The Washington Post, Connoisseur Magazine, Vogue and SvD Perfect Guide. His portrait paintings and pop art have also received considerable attention, particularly among art dealers and prominent collectors. In addition to his artistic practice, he also shares his expertise as a teacher of watercolour painting.
