Göte Hansson grew up in a small red cottage, roughly midway between Skörje and Abborremåla. His childhood was scenic but modest, with a father who supported the family through long days at the stone quarry. Göte himself would spend thirty years at a style furniture factory — yet it is his woodcarvings that have made him renowned.
Ekenbergs Auktioner has now gathered 22 of his works in a theme centered on the wild animals of the forest. The collection clearly demonstrates Göte Hansson’s unmistakable ability to capture the life and movement of nature in a single piece of wood.
You are warmly invited to Ekenbergs Auktioner to experience his creative power.
