Göte Hansson grew up in a small red cottage, roughly midway between Skörje and Abborremåla. His childhood was scenic but modest, with a father who supported the family through long days at the stone quarry. Göte himself would spend thirty years at a style furniture factory — yet it is his woodcarvings that have made him renowned.
