Örebro Stadsauktioner embraces modernist artistry as they now present Owe Wessbohn! You are warmly invited to explore the paintings and prints of one of the visual artists of Sweden’s Folkhem era.
Wessbohn was born in Malmö in 1913 and initially trained as a lithographer before enrolling at Malmö Technical School in 1930, where he studied drawing under Jules Schyl. After further studies at, among others, the Skåne School of Painting, he enrolled in the mid-1940s at the Académie Léger and Académie Colarossi in Paris.
