It was in the 1950s that Birger Nilsson began collecting weapons. From the very start, he was meticulous, insisting that every piece in his collection should be fully functional. Within the field, he became a respected name, and now Limhamns Auktionsbyrå is proud and grateful to present 52 lots of weapons and militaria — the third part of Birger Nilsson’s extensive collection.
Among the highlights is a Carolean soldier’s sword model 1685, presented alongside a highly varied selection of edged weapons. The auction also features percussion and flintlock pistols, revolvers, and rifles. Of the latter, an Austrian flintlock rifle from the 18th century stands out in particular.
A warm welcome!
