The auction house has consistently delighted us with recurring design auctions, often complemented by a carefully curated selection of paintings and graphics. This time, the recipe for success continues.
A cubic bar cabinet by Hans J. Wegner stands out as one of the auction’s unmistakable highlights. A table lamp by Poul Henningsen also deserves special attention, as does the impressive daybed from the Swiss quality manufacturer de Sede – an exquisite example of mature modernism with a more robust expression that emerged on the continent during the second half of the 20th century.
A striking – and substantial! – highlight is Margit Plougstrup’s ceramic sculpture, weighing 11 kilos and standing 45 cm tall.
