Chinese decorative arts take center stage as Uppsala Auktionskammare invites you to the themed auction Asian Treasures. Naturally, blue-and-white porcelain features prominently, but the catalogue also makes room for embroideries, reliefs, a pair of Buddha figures, and several lacquer works.
Among the porcelain highlights are a charger decorated with Arabic script, a pair of opium jars, and a kendi with silver mounts. With a few exceptions, the Buddhas are cast in bronze, while the embroideries display a wide variety of patterns and colours.
Altogether, more than 110 lots are presented, spanning several centuries.
