Stockholms Auktionsverk demonstrates high standards as they now present the August edition of Lilla Kvalitén. The extensive catalogue comprises over 400 lots, and lifting the lid of this bonbonnière of antiques, art, and design reveals a truly shimmering array of items.
Within the paintings we note a landscape by Ellen Trotzig, an Italian motif by Joseph Magnus Stäck, a decidedly French scene by Pehr Hilleström, and a charming watercolor by Paul Fischer. Alongside these are works by, among others, Isaac Grünewald, Lars Lerin, and Olle Olsson-Hagalund. All accompanied by late Gustavian candlesticks, antique silver, a striking wristwatch by Piaget, Flora Danica porcelain, and a console table from the collections of Ellen Key.
On the design side, several highlights of Danish furniture art appear, with a pair of Wegner armchairs as the anticipated centerpiece. Add to that a pair of elegant neoclassical chairs, a majestic Graal glass by Eva Englund, a silver cutlery set by Henning Koppel, several unique pieces by Lisa Larson, and beautiful jewelry – and you have some of the many delights of Lilla Kvalitén.
Welcome!
