Gomér & Andersson Linköping is drawing from the treasure trove of a collector’s home that has given us so many fine, distinctive, old, not-so-old, whimsical, and sought-after objects. This time, just over 80 lots of figurines are being presented, and it will hardly surprise anyone that they come in all kinds of shapes. Some are, of course, familiar—like Sven Wejsfelt’s fish, Karl Ens’ birds, and the elegant yet oh-so-fragile dancers from Wallendorf. And then there are a few more unusual ones. Those, you’ll have to discover for yourself.
