Leif Tapper was a true car enthusiast and one of the country's largest and most well-known model car collectors.
For over 25 years, he wrote many articles for Nostalgia magazine, where he covered new models and market news on the model car pages. He considered it important to include information about the historical background of the cars and was always well-read, thanks to his extensive personal library of motor history.
He maintained contacts with collectors worldwide, and his exhibitions were highly appreciated, always organized with a theme—for example, the Paris Motor Show 1955.
Leif passed away in 2020, and now his family has decided to sell his collection. It is a truly unique collection, a showcase of his life's work, carefully acquired over half a century.
Stadsauktion Sundsvall has been entrusted with auctioning off his collection. It will be auctioned in stages, often organized around different themes—in true Leif fashion.
Now, it’s time for the eighth stage, with the theme Leif Tapper’s Car Collection – Cadillac.
