November has arrived, and, as usual, Crafoord Auctions Lund has something worthwhile to read. Take, for instance, Sven Rinman’s modestly titled Försök till järnets historia (“Attempt at the History of Iron”), offered here in two hefty volumes from the late 18th century. Or Ozanam’s weighty four-volume mathematics compendium with 89 copperplate engravings. Or—something quite different in comparison—a cocktail book for bar lions and salon foxes from 1931, bound in wood!
