When Auction House STO Bohuslän now presents A Collector’s Home: Antique Dealer Peter Lindqvist, it’s like taking a ticket for an eclectic rollercoaster ride. Here, rustic peasant utilitarian items are mixed with cocktail boxes, oriental porcelain with poor man’s silver, and carved wooden figures. Above a collection of fine flax breakers hang a pair of shoemaker’s lamps, and next to a couple of rather magnificent wedding cups with local significance, one can see a pair of antique brass light reflectors. In total, there are over 140 lots from a varied treasure trove that could only have belonged to an antique dealer of the old school.
