The Design auction spans a wide timeframe, from the 1930s with Otto Wretling's Ideal table, Alvar Aalto's 203 bureau in birch, and a table lamp designed by Erik Tidstrand for Nordiska Kompaniet, to contemporary furniture from Muuto, HKLiving, and Audo Copenhagen. In between, there are iconic classics such as Johannes Andersen's Smiling Table, Johan Kandell's Solitär, and Bruno Mathsson's timeless Pernilla. The auction features furniture and lamps from prominent Danish designers such as Verner Panton, Poul Henningsen, and Erik Jörgensen, as well as Finnish designers like Ilmari Lappalainen, Ilmari Tapiovaara, and of course Alvar Aalto. There are also works by both Swedish and international designers, as well as several objects from IKEA and Knoll.
