It can be traced back to 1820s Germany and the ingenious instrument maker Friedrich Buschmann. But we are heading to Gästrikland and Ronnie Tysklind's remarkable collection. Of course, it's all about accordions, and in a themed auction featuring 88 lots, we will find accordions, related memorabilia, and another quirky item connected to the sounds produced by the bellows.
Ronnie's musical interest started early; he soon became a familiar face in Swedish accordion circles and would often play his own composed melody "Buster" whenever he had a moment to spare.
Among the accordions now available are a couple of Italian gems and, of course, some models from Swedish Hagström, along with numerous button accordions from renowned manufacturers. In addition to this, there are sheet music and literature on offer, as well as a significant collection of posters with a high nostalgia factor.
