Fuses have been replaced, bulbs screwed in and out. Light arms have been polished, delicate chandeliers hung, and table and floor lamps positioned. Everything is set for Auktionshuset Kolonn to unveil Belysning, a theme featuring over 130 lamps of almost every kind. The focus is on Scandinavian design pieces, occasionally mixed with charming European gems. Additionally, space has been made for a few Baroque-style candlesticks from the 18th century. A couple of elegant table models by Poul Henningsen stand out, along with Josef Frank's delightfully bubbly Model 1819 and a sleek floor lamp designed by Harald Notini, Böhlmarks' lead architect.
